Ghanaian dancehall star, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, well known as Shatta Wale has raised concerns about a new directive from the Gaming Commission.
In a new video on social media, Shatta Wale was seen addressing an issue involving Ghana’s Gaming Commission and celebrities.
However, the Gaming Commission has issued a new directive that prevent celebrities from advertising for betting companies.
According to Shatta Wale, the directive from the Gaming Commission is going to affect lot of industry players.
Moreover, he mentioned that when the Food and Drugs Authority issued a similar directive to prevent celebs from advertising for alcoholic beverage and drink companies, many people did not rise up against the decision.
He however added that this new directive from the Gaming Commission was going to affect a lot of celebs.
Furthermore, he urged celebrities to come together to fight against this initiative by the Gaming Commission.
