Tyson Fury was on top of the world as he displayed brilliant but brutal masterclass to batter Deontay Wilder to a seventh-round, becoming world heavyweight champion again.
Fury outfought the previously undefeated Wilder in their rematch which took place at Las Vegas last night to capture the WBC title and establish a massive statement about divisional dominance.
The first round was evenly contested as expected as both fighters showed off skills they are capable of. Wilder gave a big right hand on Fury in the opening rounds but Fury also replied some jabs as well.
Wilder’s legs were unstable in the fourth round as Fury came out more on full attack . The Brit won the round again.
At the commencement of the fifth round, Fury caught Wilder as the champion was trying to stay in the match but he was knocked down again for the second time. Fury tried to finish it off but the round ended with a point deducted from the Englishman.
The Gypsy King was looking for the finish in the sixth as Wilder continued to struggle with a bleeding left ear and mouth. Fury convincingly won the round again.
The referee ended the match in the seventh round as Wilder found it hard to recover in the match and Fury was hoisted following the victory.
