Vanessa Bryant took to Instagram to announce late Kobe and Gigi Bryant’s memorial date and how significant they are
Vanessa posted a photo of the memorial IV. The “celebration of life” event will hold on 24th of February 2020 (2, 24, 2020), by 10am at the Staples Centre.

In a few words Vanessa explained the significance of the date chosen. Gigi’s jersey number was 2, Kobe’s jersey number was 24 and Kobe had spent 20 years as a Laker before his death.
“#2, #24 #20 years as a Laker,” Vanessa wrote, adding purple and yellow love emojis at the end as a symbol of the Lakers colours.
