Stonebwoy told me to describe him as ‘apakye’ at Asaase Sound clash – Shatta Wale reports [See details]

Dancehall star Shatta Wale has finally narrated the actual incident that happened at the Asaase FM’s lyrical battle he recently had with Stonebwoy.

Shatta Wale revealed that all the heated exchanges that came from him and Stonebwoy were just an act.

It would be recalled that, newly-established Asaase Radio as a means to boost their audiences (listeners) decided to settle the matter of who is the dancehall king in the country.

Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy lyrical battle took place in the middle of September 2020 on Asaase FM’s event.

Well, Shatta Wale has disclosed that, the sound clash was nothing but a friendly act.

Also, he added that none of the things they said were true.

In an interview on Zylofon FM on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, Shatta said he never took the lyrical battle as a world cup.

According to him, the clash was arranged even to the point of them knowing what insults they were to hurl at each other.

Shatta Wale stated that Stonebwoy gave him the go ahead to call him “apakye” while he also agreed for Stonebwoy to call him “Gbe Naabu”.

However, he indicated that Stonebwoy seemed to have taken the clash personal some point but for him, it was all business and nothing more.
