Shatta Wale accorded ‘King of African Dancehall’ in popular Jamaican newspaper

The ‘king of African Dancehall’ title has been conferred on multiple-award winning artiste, Shatta Wale by a popular Jamaican news outlet, The Sunday Gleaner.

Shatta was featured in the entertainment section of the newspaper with a whole page sacrificed to the stories of his career, his ups and downs, his rebranding and the successes he has made and still making.

Shatta Wale was lauded as the ‘King of African Dancehall’ with respect to his love and consistency in promoting the genre in Africa without trying to swap for other genres.

His biography and deep-rooted love for dancehall icon, Vybz Kartel and his collaboration with Beyonce were all stated in the news outlet.
