Popular Nigerian Actress Post-Arrest Apology Video

Prominent Nigerian actress Funke Akindele, producer of Jenifa’s Diary was arrested in the country’s commercial capital, Lagos.

She violated the government’s measures intended to slow the spread of coronavirus by holding a party.

The police in Lagos confirmed that the 42-year-old had held a birthday party at her house over the weekend.

The party in her Lagos mansion was held to celebrate the birthday of her husband, producer JJC Skillz.

She is one of the stars used in a video by Dettol and the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). She helped educate the public on preventive measures against coronavirus; including social distancing.
