Police confirms arrest of Bishop Obinim (+statement)

On Tuesday May 19, 2020, it could be recalled that the police allegedly arrested Bishop Obinim.

The police stormed the residence of the head pastor during a one-on-one counseling session with some of his members to order for his arrest with a warrant.

He then asked for permission to go get his things together. He later came out unwell so he was rushed to Yeboah hospital at East legon.

The story was tagged as false by some individuals.

Well, the police has released a statement to confirm the arrest. The statement released by the Police department didn’t state exactly the offense the pastor committed.

But he has been granted a bail of Ghc100,000.00 and expected to return to court on June 1,2020.
