The lifeless body of a student of Fort Valley State University, Anitra Gunn who has been missing since Valentine’s Day has been found by Georgia authorities .
Family and friends of the young woman realized that they had not heard from her for a while, which is so unusual of her.
By Saturday, last weekend, Georgia police begun a search for Anitra, and on Monday they escalated the case, dedicating a task force to finding her. They even offered a $5,00 reward for anybody with vital information.
A report from Georgia Bureau of Investigations special agent JT Ricketson, local station 13WMAZ on Tuesday indicated that, the lifeless body of Gunn was found near the Peach County line after she went missing on Valentine’s Day.
Anitra’s body was recovered by Task force around 3:20pm. Due to bad weather aerial search was impossible. They also recovered parts of her car during the search.
Anitra’s father, Christopher Gunn said the last Conversation he had with his daughter was on Friday morning to wish her a happy Valentine’s Day.
One of the prime suspects is Gunn’s boyfriend who have been interrogated by the state police. His car has been towed as well.
“In cases like this, we are not going to leave any rocks uncovered,” Deese said, WMAZ reports.
