100 more workers to be laid off from Multimedia Group after Naa Ashorkor Doku Mensah

As reported earlier by Ghnewsbag, Naa Ashorkor Doku Mensah has been laid off by the Multimedia group but that’s the tip of the iceberg as 100 more workers are expected to exit the company by May ending.

The company is looking to cut the number of people by the end of May and unfortunately Naa Ashorkor had to be part of the unlucky ones but she is not the only ‘big name’ being sacked.

It is speculated that One of the workers to be affected soon is Sammy Duodo, News Editor of Adom FM.

Deep-throat sources of Ghnewsbag.com has revealed that the company is taking this action due to financial constraints imposed by the Coronavirus.

Although, the financial constraints according to our sources has been there for some months now even before the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus but the disease has made matters worse.

We are reliably informed that sometimes salaries were delayed most of the time and were sometimes paid half-way into the next month, so the COVID-19 has really given management the opportunity to ease themselves.

Also, we have been informed that the management is failing to send emails to affected individuals because they might be leaked.

Note that, the multimedia group include Adom FM, Asempa FM, Joy FM, Luv FM, Hitz FM, and Nhyira (Blessing) FM.
