A fresh graduate from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has express great disappointment in the national service posting.

Augustine Baidoo, who currently bagged his first degree in Geomatic Engineering had plans of having his national service at Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).

Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned.

However, Augustine has taken to social media to lament the need for compulsory National Service after he was rejected by the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority.

Augustine Baidoo was posted to GCAA and it was all joy for him after he found out his place of posting.

While recounting his story on popular Facebook page, Abena Manokekame, Augustine Baidoo narrated how his mum was so proud that her son had been posted to such a place.

He added that he made a lot of preparations to be able to move from the Western region to relocate to Accra to be able to start his National Service.

After weeks of doing follow-ups following the submission of his posting forms, he went to the offices of GCAA only to be handed a letter of rejection.

According to him, he was asked by GCAA to go back to the National Service Secretariat for reposting but the outfit had selected some of the personnel who submitted the forms with him.

He asked why he was being rejected and who sanctioned it but he did not get any tangible reason or answer to his many questions.
