Interesting : Kotoko and Aduana stars start match with 10 players each to prevent spoiling their juju charm

In what is acknowledged to be rather an interesting but bizarre story of the season, Title chasers Aduana Stars and Kumasi Asante Kotoko played an entire first half with ten players each.

On the team sheet of the two teams, 22 players were expected to start the game but strangely only 20 players participated in the first half of the match which is 90 mins long.

The strange part of the situation was not because the referee pulled out a red card to the two players or they sustained some sort of injuries but because of superstition and ‘juju’.

The two teams entered the field with the full set of their squad but Farouq Adams and Martin Antwi stood to the pitch side and spent the entire 45 minutes on the sidelines.

According to report, it is believed the first to step on the field is likely to lose the match which resulted in their decision to remain on the sideline.

However, the two later joined the team in the second half in a very dramatic way. The match ended 1:0 in favour of Aduana Stars.
