Ghana’s COVID-19 recoveries have increased exponentially. This follows the Ghana Health Service (GHS) latest update about the deadly disease.
The updates indicated that some 786 patients have had their recoveries, making the total number of recoveries 1,460.
This can be described as good news as many have complained vehemently about the slow rate of recovery.

Confirmed cases
However, the update by GHS also pointed out that there has been some increase in the number of positive cases recorded as of May 15, 2020.
The total confirmed cases now stands at 5,638 and four more deaths have also been recorded making the number of fatalities to 28.
The Ghana Health Service website update revealed that of the 108 new cases discovered, 44 were recorded in Accra, 26 in the Western Region, 16 in the Central Region, and 12 from the Northern Region.
