Every Ghanaian owes ₵11,000 under Akufo-Addo Gov’t”-Mahama.

Ex-President John Dramani Mahama has disclosed that; debts owed by every Ghanaian have increased since Nana Akufo-Addo became the president.

According to the former President, every Ghanaian owed ₵4,700 under his administration; but ever since Akufo-Addo took the helms of affairs in this country everyone owes ₵11,000.

He made this statement during his THANK YOU TOUR to the Eastern region.

The ex-president said the economic growth of Ghana has diminished under the NPP government.

Furthermore, he added that the solution to Ghana’s economic crisis can be found in the NDC 2020 manifesto.

“Ghana’s public debt under my administration was GHC 4,700 which was to be shared equally and every Ghanaian would have paid but now under the governance of Akufo-Addo every Ghanaian practically owes GHC 11,000 if our debts were to be shared per head,” he indicated.

In other news, former President John Mahama says he will not retract his ‘Do or Die affairs’ comment he made on Tuesday at Techiman describing it as an idiomatic expression.
