COVID-19: Ghanaian footballer d!es in Italy

Ghanaian footballer identified as Emmanuel Harrison has been confirmed [email protected] on Monday, March 30th after he was hospitalized for 10 days.

Harrison passed on at Oglio Po Hospital in Vicomoscano, a town in the northern Italian region of Lombardia.

Oglio Po news portal disclosed that the Ghanaian National played for some amateur sides including Maffei, where he led the attack.

Harrison was also a forklift operator aside being a footballer. He used to work with a local factory called EmiliaNa Parati.

“Emmanuel worked at the Emiliana Parati in Vicomoscano and had made himself well-liked by everyone, colleagues in the factory, and dressing room companions. His physique, as well as his undoubted skills of a striker, helped him,” Oglio news portal reported.

The wife and three Children of Harrison are all at London, He had plans of moving to London but was delayed by paper works.

Harrison is the third Ghanaian in Italy, and the fifth Ghanaian abroad to have died from the coronavirus disease.
