Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan has returned home to play in the Ghana Premier League after 17 years.
Gyan has officially penned down a deal with Legon Cities FC ahead of the Ghana Premier League’s upcoming season.
The former Sunderland striker inked a deal with Legon Cities FC on the transfer deadline day.
Sharing the good news on his official Instagram handle he wrote “Here we go. I’m back home to continue my career with @legoncitiesfc. I’m happy to join this club because they have a future plan for Ghana football. Don’t blink when the season starts. Follow my new club for every details of the club. Thanks for your support.”
The last time Gyan featured in the Ghana Premier League was back 2003 when he played for Liberty professionals.
