Best Graduating Student who got GH¢1.40p as Prize in 2018 finally succeeds, buys himself new car.

In our part of the world, the best graduating student in academia usually gets valuable gifts or a huge cash prize.

Well, that wasn’t the case of a brilliant young man who graduated in 2018.

A man who got N100 equivalent to GH¢1.40 as a crash prize for being the overall best graduating student has proven that a person’s success is not tied to what they read in school.

The man, identified as Bamisaye Tosin Tope first went viral in 2018 after he graduated from Ekiti State University as the best student in civil engineering; was given a cash prize of N100 (Ghc 1.40).

According to Elufowora Eluyemi Lateef, the university then said that the prize is not in the money but in what it represented. They went ahead to say that since the institution started awarding decades ago, the sponsor has not renewed the money.

Also, realizing that there are other opportunities to better his life, the graduate started his own company called Bamstech Photography.

The man has been able to earn a living out of the photography business and has gotten himself a brand new Toyota car.

Bamisaye Tosin shared his success story on Facebook.

Many social media users have sent their congratulatory messages to him.

Adejumo Taofeek Ayobami AyanfeOlorun said: “Congratulations to my brother, bro let me teach you how to ride a car that’s my area of specialization.”

Abimbola Shittu said: “A hearty congratulations to him. But his decision to make a career out of photography means we are short of a good Civil Engineer in the construction industry.”

Ayeere Sunday Henry said: “If this man can become the president of Nigeria… It is obvious that he will lead well.. congratulations brother.”
