Twene Jonas is set to be punished by gods as some elders from the Bechem traditional area gathered at a shrine to conjure curses on him for allegedly disrespecting Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
In his current outburst over Galamsey harming water sources, the social media critic who lives in the United States and is known for attacking Ghanaian authorities descended on Ghanaian chiefs including otumfour.
“Even the Asantehene said it’s over to you if you give people land to unlawfully mine in exchange for goats,” he stated, adding that “everyone in Ghana is a thief, they don’t tell the truth, including the Asantehene.”
His remark, however, has enraged some individuals, who have planned to confront him for disrespecting the Asantehene.
On the 24th of May, several elders from the Bechem traditional territory gathered at a shrine to cast curses on Twene Jonas.
A video of these Bechem elders performing ceremonial sacrifices on top of the curses to put an end to Twene Jonas’ life has gone viral on social media.
