AS Roma gifts President Akufo-Addo home jersey

President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has been presented with a special home jersey of Italian Serie A side, AS Roma.

The Serie A together with some of the Europe top leagues have bounced back following the outbreak of the virus.

A brief ceremony held at the Jubilee House on Thursday, 18th June, 2020, Massimiliano Taricone, who is the Italian Ambassador to Ghana, did the presentations of the Jersey on behalf of AS Roma and thanked him for the unfaltering support to the team during all league games.

AS Roma which is one of Europe’s top club, was founded in 1927 when Italo Foschi initiated the merger of three old Italian Championship clubs from the city of Rome.

Several Professional Ghanaian footballers have played for AS Roma including Samuel Osei Kuffour.
