“Allow all final years to go home until further notice” – Ministry of Health to all Principals

In the President’s address to the public on 15th of March, he was specific all institutions must be shut down until further notice.

This directive included even final years of the various universities but was specific final years of SHS and JHS must continue under special precautions.

Some individuals raised concerns about the various nursing training and Public health schools especially their final years.

Well, that question is answered now as the Health Ministry has directed all principals and directors of public health training institutions to allow all final year student to go home until further notice.


The government is in talks with GES, they are yet to come out with any new directive for the WASSCE and 2020 BECE final year students.
